Lincoln Computer Centre

Remote Support via Splashtop SOS

Lincoln Computer Centre provides remote support services via the internet where we may need to access your computer during a telephone support call to solve a particular technical issue.  So that's all well and good, the trouble is that internet scammers use exactly the same technology so you need to be very cautious about who you allow to access your computer.  If you are unsure, hang up and use your own resources to call back the technician using White Pages, Yellow Pages, Google or phone a friend!

Do not rely on any phone numbers or web pages suggested by the caller.

This is what the genuine Lincoln Computer Centre remote support page address (above) looks like in Google Chrome.  Check it is exactly the same.  If it is not the same, call us for assistance, do not proceed.

When you open the above link, you will be prompted to download and install the Splashtop SOS application file which will allow remote access to your computer.  The above link is registered to Lincoln Computer Centre and you will see our logo on the download page.  Only open this link during a remote support session with a verified Lincoln Computer Centre support technician
